After emigrating to Canada, Kibuuka settled in Toronto. He worked in an animation studio where he studied video and computer graphics. These new skills enriched his art and resulted in his development of his signature technique of "Fragmentation." This technique involves breaking down an image into smaller geometric fields and then reassembling the fragments into striking visions of color, motion, and mood.
