Our feet are weary
From queues and sleepless nights
Still every hope is bleary
as "off" go the pump lights

If Okechi buys a car
Will he fuel it with drool?
In the cases where he can
How much drool can make a lagoon?

It comes measured in spoons
As a litre-to-a-river
Enormous hike for the spoon
Yet the Lagoon is full of litter
We are in short supply of our pride
Say-How long will that last?
We will always fall in our strides
Except we take off our masks
